Hi, I’m Ben Ruppel — Welcome to the blog.

This space started as an electronics review blog, built on curiosity and the hope of earning a little income through Amazon affiliate links. I spent hours researching, testing, and reviewing tech products, aiming to create honest, useful content for fellow gadget lovers. The plan was simple: share helpful reviews, grow an audience, and monetize through affiliate commissions.

But things didn’t go exactly as planned.

Without sufficient web traffic, the blog didn’t meet the requirements to qualify for Amazon’s affiliate marketing program. That experience became a turning point — a chance to reflect and reimagine what this blog could be. And that’s when I turned back to one of my core passions: music.

A New Direction

This blog is now home to my music — both past and present — and to the ever-evolving story of how technology weaves through the creative process. From DIY home recording setups to songwriting reflections, I share how tech empowers sound and how sound often shapes the way we use tech.
